Warm clothes for the winter months
Jackets, sweaters and warm trousers for every child in the program before the cold sets in.
The first thing the guardians asked us for was warm clothing. Winter nights get cold, and most of the children were managing with one thin sweater between siblings.
We took the children's sizes in advance and bought jackets, sweaters, warm trousers and socks from a local wholesaler, which stretched the budget further than buying ready-made sets. Each child received a complete set in their own size.
